St. Cloud Warriors vs ND Warriors Veterans Tournament

Join the North Dakota Warriors as we host the St. Cloud Warriors for a Veterans Tournament showcase designed to build momentum for Warrior hockey in our North Dakota.

Event Overview

This special exhibition game will feature the Minnesota Warriors (St. Cloud) facing off against a team of veterans and first responders from the Grand Forks area.

The event is dedicated to promoting Warrior Hockey—one of the five disciplines of USA Hockey’s Disabled Hockey Program—with the goal of helping to launch a Warrior team here in North Dakota. The Warrior Hockey discipline serves injured and disabled U.S. military veterans, providing them with a therapeutic and competitive outlet through the game of hockey.

To participate, players must have a discharge under honorable conditions, be able to provide official documentation from their branch of service, and have either a 10% or greater disability rating or a Purple Heart.

At its core, this event is about honoring those who have served and building a community of support and camaraderie through hockey.

Schedule Highlights

• 10:45 AM — Opening remarks and color guard presentation
• 11:00 AM — Puck drop for the Veterans Tournament matchup
